ArkaZien's enchanted garden world
This is where gardeners' hearts beat faster
The enchanting ArkaZien park is alive with buzzing and humming, chirping, blooming, and lush greenery. It was created on a former industrial wasteland, whose geological features offered great potential for a green leisure park. From the very beginning, care was taken to preserve the existing trees and even to integrate them into the design.
A symbiosis of natural materials, plants, and art objects
Behind leaves and trees, animal and plant sculptures, artistic sculptures, and carvings peek out everywhere. The rustic robinia wood practically begs for plants to organically twine around its trunks. Green roofs and walls, decorated tree trunks, and overgrown playhouses and playgrounds create a fairy-tale-like, mystical atmosphere. In ArkaZien, everything intertwines to form a unified work of art and creates a breathtaking horticultural backdrop.
Rose garden, willow labyrinth, dancing linden tree, green roofs and walls
Plants play a vital role in many parts of the park, shaping the play and recreation areas: the rose garden, the willow labyrinth, the jungle, and the dancing linden tree are just a few examples. The greenery is intended to enhance the natural feel of the play areas. At the same time, it provides shade, promotes a pleasant microclimate, and contributes to the ambiance and well-being of ArkaZien.
Many native plants are used and combined with special species and varieties that fit the park's original design concept. For several years now, the selection of plants has followed a herbal and fragrant theme. Our gardeners are passionate about their work and want to enchant visitors with the greenery.

A paradise for insects, birds and lizards
ArkaZien is not only a horticultural feast for the eyes. The park is a vibrant place!
The created play and recreation areas, with their natural features, provide a home for many animals. Native songbirds nest here, insects and butterflies flutter and buzz about, and lizards bask on the stone walls and in the crevices. A lake has formed in the former kaolin quarry, where swans and other waterfowl glide across the water. Fish live in the lake, frogs croak, and dragonflies buzz through the air in iridescent colors along the shore.
