4. Restrictions on processing

Restriction of processing is the marking of stored personal data with the aim of limiting its future processing.

5. Profiling

6. Pseudonymization

Pseudonymization is the processing of personal data in such a manner that the personal data can no longer be attributed to a specific data subject without the use of additional information, provided that such additional information is kept separately and is subject to technical and organizational measures to ensure that the personal data is not attributed to an identified or identifiable natural person.

7. Data controllers

The data controller is the natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data. IV. General Information on Data Processing

We collect and process your personal data as a visitor to our website only if and to the extent necessary to provide a correct display of our website or to enable you to use our content and services. Processing generally only occurs if you have given us your prior consent or if we are legally permitted to do so. Your personal data will be deleted as soon as the purpose for which it was stored no longer applies. An exception applies only if we are legally obligated to store it for a longer period or if you have given us your consent to use your personal data for a longer period.

V. Provision of the Website and Creation of Log Files

1. Description and Scope of Data Processing

Each time you access our website, we or our hosting provider automatically collect data about access to the server on which our website is stored. The following data is collected:

(1) the name of the accessed file/page,
(2) the date and time of access,
(3) the access status (file transferred/file not found),
(4) the amount of data transferred,
(5) information about your system's browser type and version,
(6) information about your system's operating system, and
(7) the IP address of the internet connection used by your system,
(8) the website from which your system accessed our website (referrer URL).

This data is also automatically stored in our system's log files. However, the IP address of your system's internet connection is stored only in anonymized form. The last three digits are removed for this purpose. The IP address 203.000.115.193, for example, would only be stored as 203.000.115. This prevents any subsequent association of the stored portion with a specific internet connection. The data is not stored together with any other personal data of yours. Therefore, the creation of personal user profiles is not possible.

2. Purpose of Data Processing, Legal Basis

The temporary storage of your IP address by our system during your visit to the website is necessary to enable the delivery of our website to the computer system you are using. For this purpose, your IP address must be stored for the duration of the session. Storage in log files is carried out to ensure the functionality of the website. In addition, the data helps us to optimize the website and to ensure the security of our IT systems. The legal basis for the storage described is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest in data processing lies in being able to provide a functional website and to guarantee the security of our systems.

3. Data Retention Period

The data we collect from you will be deleted as soon as it is no longer needed to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected. In the case of data collected for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session ends. Error logs, which record failed page requests, are deleted after seven days. Log files containing anonymized IP addresses are deleted after 60 days.

4. Right to Object and Erasure

The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of data in log files and protocol files is essential for the secure operation of our website. Therefore, you have no right to object.

VI. Use of Cookies

1. Description and Scope of Data Processing

Cookies are small text files. When you visit a website that uses cookies, such a cookie is stored on your device or in your browser. The cookie contains a unique identifier. This identifier allows your system or the browser used on it to be uniquely identified. Various data and information about you or your system can be stored within the cookie. If storage only occurs for the duration of your visit or browser session, these are called temporary cookies (also known as session cookies or transient cookies). For example, the contents of an online shop's shopping cart or the login status for a restricted user area can be stored in such a cookie. Temporary cookies are deleted when you leave the visited website and close your browser. In contrast, permanent cookies (also known as persistent cookies) remain stored on your system even after the browser is closed. The stored data therefore remains available for future browser sessions. Such cookies can be used for marketing purposes, for example, to record specific interests and individual user behavior and to display targeted advertising. Third-party cookies (in contrast to first-party cookies) are cookies that do not originate from the website operator but from third-party providers. We use both technically necessary first-party cookies and third-party cookies on our website. Our first-party cookies store a session ID and a shopping list. You will be informed individually and separately about the data processing involved in the use of third-party cookies and the scope of the information collected in each case in the following paragraphs.

2. Purpose of Data Processing, Legal Basis

The cookies we use are designed to ensure the functionality of our website. The session ID must be recorded to maintain your session when you navigate between pages. The wish list function allows you to create an overview of the products that interest you. At the end of your visit to our website, you can send us your wish list and receive a non-binding, free quote for your selected products. Overall, by storing data via cookies, we pursue our legitimate interest in providing you with the best possible website functionality and a user-friendly and efficient browsing experience. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The user data collected by our cookies is not used to create personal user profiles.

3. Storage Duration, Right to Object and Erasure

Temporary cookies are only stored temporarily on your system and are deleted as soon as you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your system even after a browser session ends until they are deleted. Since cookies are generally stored on your system and transmitted from there to our website, you have full control over their use. If you do not want cookies to be stored on your computer, please disable the corresponding option in your browser's system settings. You can delete cookies that have already been stored at any time in these system settings. Please note that if you generally prevent cookies from being stored on your system, you may not be able to use all the functions of our website to their full extent. Further information on cookies and usage-based online marketing can be found, for example, on the EU website http://www.youronlinechoices.com/. There, you can also object to the use of cookies for usage-based online marketing purposes completely or for individual providers.

Alternatively, you can contact us via the provided email address. If you use this option, the personal data you transmit with the email will be stored and used to process your request. Your data will not be shared with third parties in connection with your contact with us.

2. Purpose of Data Processing

The sole purpose of processing personal data from the contact form and from email inquiries is to handle your request. Other data processed during the submission process serves to prevent misuse of the forms and to ensure the security of our IT systems. The legal basis for processing the data you submit via our contact form is the consent you give when submitting the data, pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. The legal basis for processing data you submit via our contact form or by email is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest in processing this data lies in the purposes mentioned above. If your contact is aimed at concluding a contract, the legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

3. Data Retention Period

The data will be stored for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected. For personal data from the contact form and data you send via email, this is the case until the matter in question has been fully resolved. The additional data collected during the submission process will be deleted no later than 7 days after submission.

4. Right to Object and Erasure

You have the right to request the erasure of the personal data you have provided to us in connection with a contact request at any time. In this case, all affected data will be deleted unless it is still required for the performance of a contract with you. After all contracts have been fully performed, we will only process your data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, such as tax and commercial law retention periods. Your data will be blocked from further processing and deleted after these retention periods have expired, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or further data processing is permitted by law for other reasons.

VIII. Use of OpenStreetMap

We use a map excerpt from OpenStreetMap (www.openstreetmap.de) on our website www.arkazien.de. OpenStreetMap is an open-source mapping tool. 1X. Use of Script Libraries (Google Web Fonts)

Further information can be found at https://www.google.com/webfonts. To avoid multiple downloads, the Google Web Fonts we use are cached in your browser. If your browser does not support Google Web Fonts or blocks access to them, our content will be displayed in a standard font.
The legal basis for using Google Web Fonts is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in optimizing the functionality of our website and thereby enabling you to use it comfortably.
When you access our website, a connection is established to the Google server where the script and font library is hosted. Various user settings and data are processed by Google during this process. Google can specifically recognize that your request originated from our website and that the font display is transmitted to the IP address associated with your internet connection.

We cannot rule out the possibility that Google uses servers outside the European Union, particularly in the USA, for this purpose. Through its certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active Google guarantees compliance with EU data protection regulations even when processing data in the USA. The use of Google Web Fonts and the processing of the data collected by Google in this context are governed by the corresponding Google Terms of Service (https://policies.google.com/terms?gl=DE&hl=de). If you are logged into a YouTube and/or Google user account, YouTube and/or Google can register your visit to the relevant subpage even if you don't actually watch the video. In this case, YouTube and/or Google can also directly associate your activity on our website with you personally or with the account you are using. This information is most likely collected and further analyzed by YouTube and/or Google. You can prevent this association and analysis by logging out of your YouTube account before visiting our website. Further information about the collection, processing, and use of personal data by YouTube and Google can be found in YouTube's privacy policy, which is available at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/ .
